MoCo GOP elects new officers

The Montgomery County Republican Central Committee elected a new slate of officers last week.

Mark Uncapher replaced Jim Shalleck as chair.

Katja Bullock, who currently works in the White House as special assistant to the president, and as associate director of the Office of Presidential Personnel, was elected to vice-chair.

Second vice-chair Sam Malhotra and Secretary Stella Green retained their seats for another year.

Michael "Moshe" Starkman, president of the Montgomery County Young Republicans, replaced George Sauer as treasurer.

Members are elected by the public for a 4-year term. Officers are nominated by the central committee's members annually.
