MDGOP to Dems: 'Come join with us'

In a statement this morning, Maryland GOP chairman Jim Pelura knocked Democratic Party leaders and invited their rank and file followers to cross the aisle.

"While Democrats promise the world without a way to pay for it, and Ted Kennedy says that our country is no longer ‘scaling the heights’ anymore, John McCain’s message of honor, putting our country first, and finding solutions on energy and foreign policy is resonating with Democrats in Maryland and all across America," said Pelura, adding, "it’s okay, come join with us. There are hundreds of thousands of Democrats supporting McCain, Joe Biden even said he would be honored to run with John McCain on a presidential ticket.”
