Non-partisan organization Vets for Freedom endorses Dr. Steve Hudson in Maryland’s 8th Congressional District
WASHINGTON – Vets for Freedom, a nonpartisan organization dedicated to educating policymakers and the American public about the strategic importance of the success in Iraq, will hold a Wednesday, September 17 press conference at Upper Senate Park on Capitol Hill (adjacent to the Russell Senate Office Building) at 10:00 a.m.
Vets for Freedom will stand with 17 congressional candidates, including incumbents from the House and Senate, from both sides of the aisle – many of whom have worn the uniform and have dedicated themselves to public service. Current members of Congress including, Reps. Jim Marshall (D-GA) and Heather Wilson (R-NM), who have been fierce advocates for our troops, will also be speaking.
“As an 18 year veteran of the United States Navy and currently serving as a Commander in the Naval Reserve, I am honored to have received the prestigious endorsement of Vets for Freedom,” said Dr. Steve Hudson.
“As a proud Army veteran of Iraq, I am humbled to speak on behalf of over 27,000 members of Vets for Freedom in offering our strong endorsement of Steve Hudson for United States Congress. He has been a steadfast source of support of all the men and women who are winning the Global War on Terror. Our country needs more people like Steve in Washington,” said Vets for Freedom Chairman, Pete Hegseth.
Dr. Steve Hudson will be one of the seventeen congressional candidates recognized and the only candidate from Maryland being so honored.
