She even gives a shout out to the vaunted machine of then-Baltimore County Exec. Ted Venetoulis.
For more than thirty years, the 1976 Democratic race had the largest primary turnout in state history with 592,000 ballots cast -- a total only surmounted recently by the 2008 presidential contest.
