Slots Foes Losers?
How can the anti-slots foes be considered losers here? The union leadership are supporting a policy that is at odds with the will and interest of their members. So far, the PG teachers and the Montgomery teachers have already come out as neutral, and it appears unlikely that the MSTA will be able to spend money on slots, nor will they have any GOTV or poll working volunteers for the pro campaign.
So it seems that the anti side has taken what could have been a negative and neutralized it in the two biggest counties in the state. Sounds like a pretty good week to me.
slots
I read earlier this week that some organizations previously brow beaten into being for slots have changed their minds. Remember, this not a referendum, it is a constitutional amendment.
